As experienced engineers, we had been through the pain and frustration of working for (and with) giant consultancies driven by sales and profits. More often than not, the very nature of these organizations got in the way. Bureaucracy made it hard to focus on the technical problems at hand and prevented engineers from doing their best work.
We don’t have a sales team, and we don’t do traditional business development - we keep our existing clients and get new ones by doing great work and being great to work with. We prefer to structure our contracts to let clients walk away whenever they want; you should work with us because you want to, not because you have to.
